The Holy Season of Lent begins March 2nd. Because of COVID-19, we have had to cancel several missions. We are blessed to be able to have a Lenten Mission this year presented by Father Whitney Miller from the Diocese of Lake Charles. Please save the date and plan to join us on March 6-8 at 6 PM. The Mission's overall theme will be "Seasons, Cycles and Spiritual Lessons. So What Really Matters?" Topics each evening will include: Sunday Evening :"Sacred Story & Thoughts Matter"; Monday Evening: "The Ordinary & Loss Matter"; and Tuesday Evening: "Cycles, Seasons & Eternal Life Matter". Father Miller completed his Ph.D. studies in Pastoral Psychology from the Graduate Theological Foundation in May of 1996. He holds a B.A. in Psychology from St. Joseph Seminary College in St. Benedict, LA. He is a Licensed Professional Counselor in the State of Louisiana and serves as the Director of Diocesan Counseling Services with office at St. Louis Catholic High School in Lake Charles. He often travels throughout the country giving workshops, retreats and parish missions. We invite everyone to join us for this enriching Lenten experience. We will host a reception each evening following Father Miller's talk.
